Sam has always been very active and interested in fitness, playing competitive volleyball growing up. She began attending yoga classes at a local gym at the end of high school and instantly fell in love with the practice. Quickly noticing not only the physical, but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga, she became more involved in her practice while at university. Yoga has always helped her to evaluate the challenges she faces day to day and reminded her to live in the moment.
She is trained in vinyasa style yoga from Balanced Life Yoga in Ajax. Her classes are always a fun and challenging variety of postures and flows. Truly believing that there are more than just physical benefits to take away from yoga, she likes to offer a taste of meditative practice to her students as well.
Sam has been an avid student at The Garden Grove and has appreciated the guidance from Candace, Rose, and Stacey. She believes that you have just as much to learn from your students as you have to teach them and is very excited to be the newest addition to the teaching team
